We started by joining Caritas Rosario in their Plan Emaus in San Pablo community.
The plan Emaus involves a large number of aspects. KIDS involvement was in the following:
University Scholarships:
KIDS supported 2 teenagers per year with assistance to attend Univerity.
Family grants:
Yearly KIDS supported 20 families – 40 parents & up to 100 children per area. This family grant is a certain amount per child to purchase school materials, clothes and general needs.
As of 2010, the community continues its own development work. KIDS continues to support them by encouraging them to create a yearly campaign and all funds raised out of the campaign goes entirely to the San Pablo Community. In 2010, all money raised through the sales of Christmas cards was in aid of this community.
